Am excited to get my dopamine from a new place but damn there's a lot of reading to get to grips with this fediverse thing.

Not sure how well that's going to play out but I'm in an "everything is too boring to do but also I'm bored" mood so reading more than a couple of paragraphs is beyond me.

Excited to find out more though.

Anyone else struggling?

the spark to learn more about this place has been the most motivation ive had in months, it's been somewhat refreshing. definitely an overwhelming amount of information to navigate tho, id say im struggling too.

AuDHDer here, I honestly wish Reddit would quit their bullshit and go back on their proposed changes so that I could go back to my normal routine. Of course, they probably won't, because Reddit doesn't give a shit. Anyway, I've been trying to stay off of there to support the blackout, but old habits die hard for me so I've accidentally logged in a few times.

Kbin seems like an OK alternative. Not so sure about other instances though. Thinking I'm gonna stick with Kbin stuff until I figure out what's what.

I’m also finding it a bit overwhelming but liking the community here so far. I rarely commented on Reddit but feel inspired here to support the posts I see.

I’m testing the Memmy app (for iOS) and slowly adding new communities as I find them.

I’m fed up with Reddit and it’s kind of exciting to be part of something new.

Agreed. But I guess it just means a hyperfixation has been unlocked for me.

I’ve gone radio silence except for setting up my little spaces on the Fediverse >:3 My husband thinks I’ve been very understanding of his hobbies, and internally I’m* completely oblivious

*Edit: spelling
