Amazing, I want to own one. I go grocery shopping once a week, I think this will fit everything
Cargo bikes are expensive, consider a kid trailer. They're pretty cheap and easy to attach to a bike you already have.
They're not as nice as a cargo bike, but they get the job done.

I got one recently and it's incredible for shopping. It's totally replacing car trips
How much did it cost you? What about repairs?
I know absolutely nothing about cycles but I want to reduce my dependence on cars as much as possible especially for short trips. All of the terms around cycles confuse me, since I haven't really dug deep into it. I don't even want gears in my cycle: I want the absolute simplest thing possible.
Have you ridden one before? How easy was it to get the hang of?
Not my first rodeo with this model.
It handles great! Much easier than 3-wheeled varieties that I’ve tried.
Honestly, bakfiets are so goodamn cool! I wish I had the space!
