That is one classy nib. How's it write? Might keep an eye out for a restored one. . .

It writes amazingly well! The gold is relatively soft, so while it is not a flex nib writing has some character and feels great! Highly recommended, and they're not anywhere near as expensive as the PFMs.

It is Montblanc Irish Green. It's a very pretty green ink. I like it.

It’s beautiful. Is a nib mounted like this difficult to clean? It looks like it’s fixed there for good.

Yes, it's an inlaid nib so it does not come off. It's not difficult to clean at the moment, but the feed and everything can be dismantled with a lot of effort. I hope I never have to do it.
