I may have the same issue but on bottles flatpak. For me, the game sometimes does this thing where the game doesn't load, and when it does, it's a 1x1 window (even though I am on gnome, not a WM) that I can't interact with. I have had best reliability with having the virtual desktop enabled, and if the issue happens, open system monitor or whatever the equivalent of task manager on your distro is, and kill League Of Legends.exe, which closes the game and should let you press the reconnect button. I usually have to do this multiple times before the game decides actually make a window and load.
Farewell League of Linux </3
# ❌ Vanguard anticheat is coming to League of Legends, the era of League of Linux is over. * Riot announcement video \(Vanguard @ 12:12\) * Farewell r/leagueoflinux: Vanguard is coming to League of Legends, likely ending the era of League of Linux * Collection of Rioter comments * DotA2 Steam page
I have the same problem. It doesnt matter how many times i press reconnect it wont make the window. Does anybody have a idea how to fix this?
Exactly the same issue
The "League of Legends.exe" that is used for the games in league of legends launch for like 0.1s and instantly crash for me
(I never see any windows related to it or even the "infamous" 1x1 window)
Except the game has worked out like 2 weeks ago and I can't launch any games now, I'm using Fedora 37 with an Nvidia graphics cards
Does any of you have find a workarround?
I feel like i've tried everythings...
This was, at least for me, fixed with an upgrade to proton GE lol 8.12 and a clean reinstall with said wine version set as default
