RueGorE: It's still loading. You need to wait longer, especially since it looks like you're booting off a USB thumb drive.

Just don't do anything until you see the desktop load. And even then, things might be slow to load such as the application menu, etc.

The only way to make it go faster is to use faster external storage devices.

5C0L0P3NDR4: it stayed that way for a little over an hour, is that a normal wait time?

crazyclue: Reimagining from USB takes forever. Definitely could be over an hour in some cases.

There's something wrong with the way the deck boots from USB.

jplayzgamezevrnonsub: There's not something wrong with the way the Deck boots from USB, the Deck boots from USB just fine. The issue is with the recovery image itself.

5C0L0P3NDR4: okay so it's past this and now on a screen with the deck logo and a loading wheel, but the loading wheel is frozen

Ceros007: The only USB stick that worked for me was a Samsung BAR Plus with a Google USB A to USB C adapter that I got with my old Pixel 2.

5C0L0P3NDR4: hm maybe it was a bad idea to use the cheapest usb drives off amazon then i can't imagine that's gonna make it much faster. is it time sensitive or anything, like will it shut off if i take too long? it's late where i am so if i could just let it run overnight and get to it when i wake up that'd be great
