What is !cyoa?

!cyoa is a community for sharing and discussing CYOA content.

A CYOA (Choose Your Own Adventure) is a “what if” scenario containing multiple options that you, the player, choose to build a world, character, and/or story.

These scenarios follow a wide variety of themes, including but not limited to genres such as fantasy or sci-fi.

People that play through CYOAs commonly share their ‘builds’ in the comments section, along with an explanation of your choices. This, however, is not mandatory.

CYOAs are NOT to be confused with the children’s book series of the same name.

General Rule

  1. Don’t be a dick.

Content Rules

  1. Only use PNG and JPG file extensions, Imgur, ImageChest, and interactive CYOA links (such as Neocities), and text-based posts.
  2. Post singular CYOAs, not collections/albums.
  3. Label NSFW CYOAs as such in the title. Content/trigger warnings are recommended.
  4. No reposts (for now).
  5. Keep top-level comments on-topic.
  6. (Optional) Try and credit the original CYOA author, if possible.

The very expansive fork of the Worm CYOA V6(.1) by PixelGMS.

Though it has morphed into its own thing with so many additions, including a fully fledged Shardless section. And new updates happen on a regular basis.

Danny's Harem (SFW)

Here's one of my favorites. I've even written 5 chapters for it on Sufficient Velocity

SI Reincarnated as the Winslow janitor a few days before the locker. Despite her best efforts, she fails to prevent Taylor from triggering but saves her. She goes to visit her at the hospital and meets Danny, Taylor's mother. They go for a coffee together and Andrea gives her pictures of the scene and helps her with suing the school. They also start dating, much to the confusion of Taylor.

How do powers play into this? Andrea's asshole ex bought himself a power from Cauldron and wants to rub in in her face. He is the new member of the BB protectorate, Dynamo, an up and coming star on the cape scene. He breaks into her flat and unmasks himself to her to taunt her. He gives her a power vial and dares her to take it, promises he will make her a villain if she does.

Andrea also gets in trouble frequently and has to use her powers which puts her on a collision course with Dynamo. She takes on the identity of Harem, a Trump/Shaker/Mover independent cape known for her duplication abilities and exotic force fields.
