I wonder if that was because the football was on the tele after the late night foreign films. Would make sense if so.
Well, yes.
That's the entire point of the running joke in the 80's. It's just that I was a kid and when everyone agrees on what SBS stands for, you don't really question it.
Got it. I was confused at first. I thought seeing as you mentioned you were a kid you meant an actual kids game or practice which would be happening during daylight hours. I've had that kind of day.
