Hey all, glad to see some familiar names here. This is my first time posting something and I’m hoping this works as my account is on lemmy.world rather than on feddit.de. But apparently that doesn’t matter? Curious to see if this can get off the ground.

Correct, it doesn't matter on which instance your account is registered, they all interact with one another. Since we are expecting a major influx of users in the next 12-24h it could however mean that individual instances are overloaded, while others work just fine, so I guess in the next few days we all need a little patience :-)
