The U.K. government has announced its intention to ban the sale of disposable vapes as part of a broader legislative package aimed at curbing an “alarming rise” in youth vaping. The package, introduced on Monday by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, would also allow the government to regulate flavors, as well as how cartridges are packaged and displayed in shops. “You talk to any parent or teacher, they’ll talk to you about the worrying rise in vaping among children,” Sunak told reporters, according to the Associated Press. “Children shouldn’t be vaping, we don’t want them to get addicted. We still don’t understand the full long-term health impacts of vaping. So it is right we take strong action to stamp this out.” The measures, which have yet to be approved by Parliament, could potentially be packaged alongside previously announced legislation to permanently prohibit the sale of tobacco to anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 2009. Sunak’s administration has repeatedly reinforced its commitment “to [bringing] about the first smokefree generation” before the issue becomes “endemic,” as he put it on Monday.

Ban them based on how horrific they are for the environment. Items containing batteries and plastic shouldn’t ever be single use.

Yeah.

As someone who's been vaping for 10 years, seen the original cigarette lookalikes, the e-go, the rise and fall of the artisanal domestic market, and the eventual dominance of corporate greed, these things are utter garbage. The worst we've ever had.

I don't do nicotine, I've been using the delta 8,9,etc as well as the real thing and sadly some of the strains I want to try are only available in disposable. I need to figure out where I can recycle them locally.

Unfortunately we don’t have THC vapes here, legally. However I can understand its the same problem. We have no real way to recycle them either and I am unsure how they could be recycled economically and not “recycled” by shipping them to another country like happens with recycling today

Where is "here". It's not legal in my state but we have several fully legal states close enough that we can either make a special trip or we can swing by a dispensary when we are on another trip. The delta stuff is legal to ship to most states, there are a few that don't allow it.

I buy from Moonwlkr and my wife has been buying from luxe and some other site I don't remember at the moment.

Is it possible to get the delta stuff shipped?

Do they contain THC? If so, not legally
