We have the xc90 plug in right now and really love it. I'm very tempted to switch when this comes out. I'd like to hold off until they start coming out with 1000km ranges though. Then I'll never have to worry about finding a fast charger.

I also wonder how all the fabrics will hold up. We've been getting leather interior since we had kids and while it's great everyone is moving to animal free interiors, I hope they will hold up to the wear.

1000km is not really that important tbh. From my experience with my Model Y that already has pretty good range, I can see that I only use a fraction of that in my daily life. As long as the car charges fast and is somewhat efficient, 1000km isn't really that relevant. 400-500km is plenty.

I completely agree, if I had a Tesla. Once/If the supercharger network opens up to everyone I would be completly fine with 500km.

I'm in eastern Canada and there are only superchargers and very very few general DC chargers

We have a XC90 Recharge as well. At this point I'll be waiting for NACS adoption before switching to anything else.

We put a 10 year warranty on the XC90 and love it. I figure by then all the fast charging woes will be sorted out. The other car is full EV anyway, so we're not stuck burning gas on longer trips.

Agreed! I do hope the NACS adoption happens. It's a shame that companies didn't start with one standard 🤷‍♂️
