I usually see Spanner type screws in my local hospital.
That makes sense. They're not an easy bit to stumble across at the hardware store so they're considered tamper resistant. It's not impossible to get one out, but you're going to be pretty determined without the bit.
Hospitals are public spaces with sensitive medical equipment. They don't want someone getting into things they shouldn't.)
