Yes, you're right, the US has shut down so much positive change in rhe middle east. It seems like the other day that i read about how the US effectively destroyed the democratic Iranian government, and installed a puppet religious fundamental government.

I suppose it makes sense for the US to impose a fundamentalist government, they just want the middle east to be like themselves
