So they aren't going to really taste different. The difference is you have happier chickens. If chickens are in a regular cage there's usually less than one foot of space for the chicken to live out its life in. They become stressed the feathers fall out and they have automatic lights that turn on and off to keep egg production High. Cage free eggs have chickens that have more room to wander around and be a little bit more like a normal chicken. More humane. Cage free is still different than free range though. Usually, if you have free range eggs the yolks are nice and orange the whites aren't watery, and they taste a hell of a lot better
