I always wondered who John Oliver was. Especially after the whole r/pics thing lol.

Now I know, he's a newsreader? Edit: Nope, comedian, thanks!

He's a comedian & actor who hosts a news comedy program that does a kind of gonzo journalism. It's generally pretty well researched in my experience.

Yeah it's just not something that irked me enough to actually look up lol. Or watch the above video (I don't have the patience for videos)
