Writers

Former journalist/creative non-fiction writer/editor who is now working on a high fantasy story, new to the genre. I started out trying to write a short story as a gift for someone. I ended up really enjoying working on it, and it kept getting bigger and more detailed, so I eventually decided to try actually writing a real book/series. Currently planning on three books, but my book three outline is already significantly longer than for the first two so I may end up with four.

Not entirely sure what I'll do with it when it's finished, leaning toward self-publishing but I'm still learning about my different options. I don't see myself making a living this way but I love the idea of having even just a few readers out there who like my stories and want to read them, so I'm going to give it a try.

Really interested in connecting with other writers for peer editing, feedback, etc. So hopefully this instance will be a good resource for that!
