For those who don't know: Eternity (for Lemmy) is a fork of Infinity (for Reddit).
That's what I use, and it's great! I have been using Infinity with reddit for many years before switching.
Yup, I use it as well. Fantastic app which costs nothing and is available on F-droid.
Note that it is not in the main F-Droid repo yet. Coming soon, but you currently have to add the IzzyOnDroid repo. Instructions at the top of this page https://apt.izzysoft.de/fdroid/
whats the diffefemce between izzy and f repos
izzyondroid is maintained by Izzy, a single dev. whereas fdroid's repo is official repo for f-droid.
why wpuld one perso make their own repo
because f-droid's criteria is restrictive to some otherwise good apps. and they take some time to add apps to official repo.
think of izzyondroid like a beta-testing repo.
Dangit that's literally what I'm working on haha!
For some reason, I love forks who are named with a word that has a very similar concept to the original one.
Infinity, it's Eternity but more science-y.
