I suspect that would rapidly heat up the metal and potentially burn that victim :(

9V batteries can't supply a lot of current
if both of those contacts on their nose are connected together
Does anyone know if cartillage can melt?
Braising low and slow would be a better method. It won't completely break down, but the rest of the connective tissue should melt in your mouth.
