It's so crazy that Barbie is still on the list generating revenue, and available in theaters. Good for the Barbie people.

@robocall @ClarkZuckerberg I wonder if it's partially being bolstered by how expensive it is to rent on VOD still?

It stays expensive to rent while it remains in theaters. Once it's out of theaters, the price drops.

@ReluctantMuskrat Generally, sure. But they often stay $20 for a bit when they first hit VOD even when it's no longer in theaters, and I've never seen them bump it up to $25 as they have with Barbie (save for some experimenting with release strategies during 2020, such as with Mulan)
