It’s weird but you get used to it quick enough (and the company helps - welcome home!)

The company is the most important part so as long as that's functioning I have no complaints! (well except that the site insists on trying to send me notifications on mobile browser despite declining multiple times, but I'll get over that)

Try Jerboa if you're on Android. I don't think it even supports notifications yet, so you'll not get any of that. There's also Mlem for iOS but it's not widely available yet.
