This may not be at the top of my "excessive" list, but it's the most recent. I bought a pair of ex-enterprise HP servers and a 32RU rack to hold them, so I could cancel my Netflix subscription.

Link to what? The person is either pirating or buying digital copies of TV/movies and storing them on a server. Likely being served with Plex, Emby, or Jellyfin.

How I wish you could buy digital copies... the only option is pirating or buying physical copies and turning them into digital copies.
