I've got a large 3" 4-piece Mendo Mulcher with kief catcher, but removing the grind plate is very difficult with the lid on.

I also have a small Brilliant Cut grinder, but they don't have an option for a catcher, which I sort of prefer.

How is the Santa Cruz Shredder? What is everyone else using, besides sissors or quarters in medicine bottles?

I get paying more for quality, but I looked at those and the price tag just seems way too high for what it does. Over $100 to upgrade something that my $15 grinder already does well enough just isn't worth it - if it stops functioning in a few years I'll just replace it again then for another $15. They also don't look like they have much grip - just smooth metal on the sides - and that can be an issue for some people (myself included)
