For me, it would be The Expanse, and Dark

(I am hopping to get recommendations for some good scifi shows I haven't been introduced to from here)

Fringe and The Expanse would probably be my all time favorites. Next on the list: 12 Monkeys, Travelers, and naturally three shows that never reached their conclusion - Westworld, Raised by Wolves and for sure I think 1899 would have been a favorite.

1899 was clearly ready to take us in a completely different direction - and it's an utter travesty that we won't get treated to that.

I know! That ending got me so hyped. I initially didn't care for 1899 because I'm not a huge fan of old timey, set at sea, whatever the fuck you'd call that type of genre. I had NO idea what it was about and once I realized I was hooked, and then of course the ending, potential space setting - right up my alley! But alas, another one bites the dust for the Netflix graveyard.

Exactly the same reason many of us stopped bothering with broadcast shows. Networks don't realise that when someone invests time in a new show, and then it just gets killed off, people become less willing to invest time in the next new show.

As for Netflix - they have spent more time and money advertising Stranger Things than literally any other Netflix original on the service. And I love Stranger Things - but it's very unfair that they don't treat the rest of their content with as much love. Sense8 is a prime example - what an amazing show. That I found out about AFTER it had been cancelled.

Edit:
And let's not even mention The OA.....

Oh yes, The OA.. That ending as well. I was like oh man, next season is going to be something. Oh.. never mind. Then there's Santa Clarita Diet, Dirk Gently, those cancellations left such a bad taste in my mouth. Recently The Midnight Club and Warrior Nun was also cancelled - can't say I was in love with the WN but I got invested enough that I needed to see how it ended. At this point it's not worth starting something on Netflix.

The relief I felt when I saw that From had already been renewed for season 3, I think it was before season 2 started airing or just as it started, omg. And Silo has been renewed for season 2, thank god.

Wait The Midnight Club got cancelled? F*ck - I'm part way through that.... I don't know if I should bother finishing it now....
There's been quite a few that really shocked me along with 1899, I think it was called Daybreak but I'll need to check, hold on - yup, it was. That was a really good series, apocalyptic, but with great humour. Didn't make it past season 1. And it's the fact that like I could understand it if it was because of poor viewing figures, but I see stuff trending in the top 10 practically worldwide - and then it's announced it has been cancelled. Like what?
