What's the best/easiest access beach in south OC? (kbin.social)

Moved here from San Diego County recently. Down there you sort of just turned off the 101 into a parking lot and boom, beach. (Tamarack, Ponto, Moonlight, etc)

I feel like here in OC they make it real difficult to get to. Any place between Dana Point and Newport that has easy access? I have a fresh little one and am eager to get them out into the sand without it being a fat hassle.

Don't know if you're still looking for an easy way to get to the beach, but check out my recent post. Metrolink has resumed service to San Clemente and Oceanside, and the stations are right at the beach. Adult day passes are only $10 on the weekends, and kids ride free.
