Hello! I hope this sub doesn't devolve into people arguing about Dogen (see r/zen). There are some people whom question the legitimacy of Dogen and Japanese Zen Buddhism in general, and r/zen is filled with people arguing about it. Even though there are separate r/zen and r/zenbuddhism subs.
I started a zen.ee community at lemm.ee, but I was wondering if anyone had thoughts about this, it's pretty annoying on r/zen to see the constant spam about it. Should there be seperate zen and zenbuddhism subs to keep people from getting into these heated arguments, when really we should be arguing about zen!?
Seems a bit early for that concern. Fragmentation, discoverability and critical mass is more pressing.
Well, at the very least it looks like I can now see other users comments here and they can see mine :)
