While rumours, speculations and ‘expert’ grading of trade rumours reach a fever pitch around Pascal Siakam, Sports Illustrated is bringing the conversation back around to OG Anunoby with citing a Bleacher Report of report of a possible trade to the Orlando Magic.

Chris Walder’s quippy tweet in reaction to some OG trade scenarios floating about says “Thanks for making the Toronto Raptors infinitely worse.”

I think Masai will make the trade if we get a ton back for OG, but I don't see us trading OG. Next year feels like a Nick- and Fred-less run-it-back year. I think they'll want to keep OG on the team. Plus, he's a fan favourite :D

Not a lot of enthusiasm from me for any kind of ‘running it back.’

I can see OG being part of of a rebuilding year since he’s wanting to step up. I really can’t see the benefit on the Raptors side of keeping Siakam. His progress has come at the expense of the development of others and I can only see his staying on as again working to his isolated, personal advantage as a platform rather than enabling others to build competence.

I definitely share some of your concerns. I think I read that Darko's known to use a lot of pick 'n roll, which the Raptors barely ran last year. I'm hopeful the coaching and changes at point guard will create more variety in the offence. It was tough to watch at times last year - I want fun to watch offence! :D

I confess I just lost interest last season.
