@maegul @Railison To the extent that it is a bottle neck for given lines it needs to be removed, but having every service that goes around the loop end up going out to the end of some line is an efficiency gain: those passengers don't have to change trains at Southern Cross or Flinders.

But yes, as it is a bottle neck for getting more trains out to the ends of each line it will get removed from more and more lines.

Remember we the Werribee/Williamstown & Frankston lines are out already
