The moment I learned they made Yasuke, a known Black Samurai, a gay black man.. lmao I fkin quit investing into the franchise. I'm done.

Yasuke was not "a known black samurai." He was black, and lived in Japan, but he was Oda Nobunaga's retainer. That's all there is recorded about him in the single document that mentions his job/rank. There is no evidence to support that he was a samurai. Which is the entire reason for Japan being upset with Ubisoft.

Making him gay was just an extra. It's not really all that relevant to the problem, but it also has no historical evidence to support that idea either.
