Hey, has anyone heard of a problem with some source engine games that you have to manually preload 32bit libtcmalloc in order for the games to function? It happens at least on arch and fedora according to my system and everyone on protondb... The issue started back in summer and never got resolved. I used to use it but I read on the initial github issue that there is a chance you get vac banned. I am now scared and hope all my hours don't go to waste on tf2. Sorry for that. I now have been dual booting linux for gaming on windows because of issues like these. Maybe I'll try debian or kde neon...

This isn't some sort of asking for help, just a weird thing that I am worried about and want an oppinion somewhere I think people will say something...

New to TF2 and just saw this video. The amount of effort that went into this is staggering and it came out so well. I love the tf2 video making community and the effort that goes into their content.

It seems to me that every other soldier is somehow faster and has more rockets than me when I try to play soldier and I'm just trying to figure out what I need to do to get better at not dying so fast. I've done jump academy in the past, but I feel like I'm still a bit stuck in regards to my soldier skills (I normally main Medic, Pyro, and Scout) Thanks in advance.

Per title, I'm going to use an Optiplex 790 that's been collecting dust in my room, with a lightweight OS and hopefully an SSD

BUT CAN IT RUN TF2?

Like previously mentioned, this new framework allows app development to introduce new features much more easily and unlocks a lot of potential for the app.

In the next release of mastercomfig 9, barring any more patches, you can expect to see support for class configs, crosshair customization, weapon customization and more advanced keybind setups.

These features are already near completion and are in the polish stage for bug fixing and visual enhancement. I can't wait to see what the community thinks about this, and hope the app becoming a one-stop shop for all TF2 customization provides value to all of you. I'm always open to feedback and new ideas, just let me know what you're thinking of!

mastercomfig should have stayed a performance config; a TF2 customization framework is outside the scope of mastercomfig's goals.

There's a mirror on GitLab. (I really need to get off these proprietary platforms...)

I'm in agreement with the comments: These "god" players bully casual players, and they should not be in casual. God like players would just make people rage.

Brought to ~~me~~ you by the same subreddit that harassed me when I stating that "Dispenser Range is overrated" (it still is lmao) and "Ubersaw is overrated" (I withdraw that argument though).

Christ no wonder people hate reddit so much...
