I would love to be able to stream to the fediverse from my woodworking shop. Does anyone have a link to any kind of video tutorial or anything on how to get it up and running correcty?

I'm very much riding the stuggle bus with it.

Anyone got it running? No success so far.

Found that these two which seem to work with older models.

Both run but do not detect my Streamdeck.

I mean it's there (i tried multiple USB ports):

$> lsusb
$> Bus 001 Device 010: ID 0fd9:0084 Elgato Systems GmbH Stream Deck Plus

Edit: Found another Thing. Uses a different approach - "hidraw". Strangely - the Web-App detects the Streamdeck + correctly. (But Fails upon access Problems )

No device access granted: NotAllowedError: Failed to open the device.

Out of ideas. Any hints are appreciated.

WIe restreamer.io - aber selber gehosted und single-user.

Server. Ermöglicht Simulcat/Multicast - also das gleichzeitige streamen an mehrere Empfänger (Twitch, Owncast, Youtube etc...)

OBS z.b. streamt dann einfach an Restreamer, von da aus können dann Empfänger bedient werden.

Single User Streaming Server.

You can use OBS or similar to stream to it. OwnCast then has the Video and a chat for your stream.

Fediverse Integration:

  • Announces when you go Live on Fedi
  • People can follow your stream
