Common Side Effects is one of the first new series set to launch on Adult Swim in 2025, with the highly anticipated conspiracy thriller being one of the network's most interesting upcoming projects. The animated series follows Marshall Kusso, a man who discovers a medicine that has the potential to cure nearly every ailment. However, a massive pharmaceutical company hopes to take him down before he spreads this cure-all to the world of Common Side Effects, with Marshall enlisting the help of Frances Applewhite, a friend who secretly works for the company.

Common Side Effects series creators Joe Bennett and Steve Hely were at SCAD AnimationFest 2024, the Savannah College of Art and Design's yearly celebration of the art of animation, where the duo showed off their new Adult Swim series. Screen Rant interviewed Bennett and Hely, with them discussing the inspirations behind the show and the series' future beyond season one.

the world's finest superheroes — including the trinity of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman — are colliding with other Warner Bros.-based IPs in MultiVersus: Collision Detected, a six-issue DC Comics series revealing the story behind the free-to-play platform fighting game

characters from across the Cartoon Network, Boomerang, and Adult Swim-verses have entered the fray.

The story continues when MultiVersus: Collision Detected #3 goes on sale Oct. 16th.

• Adult Swim's "Rick and Morty" Season Eight Sneak Peek – Celebrate the return of the global phenomenon Rick and Morty with executive producers Dan Harmon and Scott Marder and voice cast Harry Belden, Ian Cardoni, Sarah Chalke, Spencer Grammer, and Chris Parnell as they dive into the upcoming season. Thursday (10/17), 4:45 – 5:45 pm, Main Stage
• Adult Swim's "Lazarus" Sneak Peek and Q&A – Join anime legend Shinichirō Watanabe for a special look at his new Adult Swim series Lazarus. Celebrated for his influential body of work that includes Cowboy Bebop, Lazarus marks Watanabe's return to the sci-fi action genre with a globe-trotting thriller set in the near future. Adult Swim's head of action and anime and series executive producer Jason DeMarco, along with producers Joseph Chou and Takenari Maeda, will join Watanabe to discuss this exciting new series. • Adult Swim's "Night of New" Screening – Get an early look at Adult Swim's most talked-about new and returning series. We will be screening Women Wearing Shoulder Pads from series creator Gonzalo Cordova, Common Side Effects from executive producers Mike Judge and Greg Daniels and co-creators Joe Bennett and Steve Hely, and a sneak peek of YOLO: Rainbow Trinity from creator Michael Cusack. Invincible Fight Girl is an upcoming American animated action-comedy television series created by DC Super Hero Girls' Juston Gordon-Montgomery. The series will premiere sometime in 2024 in the United States on both Adult Swim and Max.

The first episode of the series was shown at SCAD TVfest on February 7, 2024 and was shown at Adult Swim's San Diego Comic-Con panel on July 26, 2024.

"Common Side Effects" was created by Joe Bennett and Steve Hely and is executive produced by "King of the Hill" creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels.

"Common Side Effects" follows former high school lab partners Marshall and Frances who begin to unravel a conspiracy involving big pharma and the federal government to suppress knowledge of a rare mushroom that may hold the key to curing all the world’s diseases.

the Adult Swim “Pirate Parrrty” is an outdoor attraction (look for it on the green space behind the convention center, on Fifth Avenue Landing and Convention Way—you can’t miss it) filled with games (alas, the Mr. Nimbus Dunk Tank was not yet up and running) and slightly harrowing “rides” (the Rick and Morty Cthulhu Battle involves climbing a rope ladder into a monster’s… mouth?).
