Is there a way in kbin to search specific magazines when looking for information? Looks like you can set specific communities or if its a post or comment using Lemmy, but the search on kbin is just a single text field.

I'm lost. I created the @bestof and 'bestof' doesn't make it come up in my search.

It looks to me like Google has yet to crawl your new magazine. I know I've used it on content posted within 24 hours, but I think the distinction was it was to a lemmy community that was well established and Google was already crawling.

EDIT: If I for example perform the following search, I can find the current top active post on kbin meta from 5 days ago

I don't believe so at this point. Hopefully this feature gets added in the future, especially as the amount of content grows and global search becomes less feasible.
