That cable in the pic looks identical to the one I got in my MacBook Air box a few weeks back. Hope this is true but you can see in the photo it's clearly a) longer than 1.5m and b) too big for an iPhone box.
For the price you pay for the iPhone it should include a 10m cord on a reel. Nice that it’s finally braided though. Never had a Apple charging cable that wouldn’t deteriorate.
