Maybe it's proof of authenticity or quality in the woodblock print world. It's a clever print. Don't think I would have even recognized that it's kiss.

The site is a bit of a mess but some great prints on it.

When i zoomed in i noticed the unique shape and placement of the star. That's so kiss.

If you like this they've have Iron Maiden's mascot, Eddie in the same series, plus another Kiss print.... the site is not the easiest to navigate tho

I really like these modern ukiyo-e/modern 'horror' mash up prints, the older wood blocks are also great fun...
