I'm so confused by this community's purpose......I get that these are NOT news stories....but are they based on common misconceptions? Or can anyone make up any random story that never happened? Because in that case......

You got it. It’s news that would be believed if the word NOT was removed. It was based on an article today, claiming that JD Vance did not fuck his couch.
