Every Ukrainian downing of Russian hypersonic Kinzhal with the Patriot missiles will improve the Patriot missile intercept algorithm - and increase accuracy for all Patriot systems, a benefit for the US, the rest of NATO, and other Patriot AD users. Added ROI.

Pretty much what those weapon systems were built to do. It's a rare chance to test them against real world targets...

I wonder how the medium range systems like IRIS-T or NASAMS would fare against them. Not that we should let them even get that far. It's just so satisfying to watch all of Russia's super-weapons fail so miserably.

There was talk in German Media a few weeks ago, that IRIS-T had a 100% success rate. Every single rocket IRIS-T fired shot another one down.

Not sure I believe it, but I wouldn't be surprised much.

Once again American weapon systems show the world what absolute clowns Russia are.

My thought exactly. What I guess was an attempt at a saturation bombardment, costing at least half a billion dollars, and it achieved literally nothing. Meanwhile in Russia you hear shit like the story the other day where a man got shot in the knee, and instead of getting him knee replacement and disability payment they sent his wife a bag of vegetables and they're sending him back to the front line (even though he can barely walk). This whole situation is so fucked.

Yeah but this is an attrition game : if every patriot sent costs 3 m$, is it used to down a 10m$ khinzal, a 1m$ kh-22 or a 20k$ shaheed ? It costs both sides a lot, and I am not sure it is in favor of UA

NGL, that's pretty badass. Engineers are the real MVPs!
