Why can't my community be found from other Lemmy instances? (sopuli.xyz)

I try to view my community hosted on https://sopuli.xyz from any other instance like lemmy.ml, lemmy.world, lemmy.one, etc and all I get is 404: couldnt_find_community. Does my community need to meet some requirements first?
