Your comments are pretty weird dude, you might want to do some self reflection. This kind of attitude takes a lot of effort and drives people away. You could be doing something better for you right now.
Yet nobody provided an explanation / answer to my question above. Maybe I'm the only one actually doing some self reflection there...

The rise of trans ideology making its way into the mainstream directly links with the occupy wallstreet movement and gay marriage legalization.
The ultra-rich have created a boogeyman, to distract and divide us, and now you all sit around defending or attacking it.
The average person does not spend their day mass posting on Lemmy and then arguing about gender in the comments.

Oh no, I agree with you. That's why I asked if he was OK and didnt engage with the arguments. I never stated my position, you seem to misunderstand. I was simply asking why this person cared so much, because it is a boogeyman and I don't want to see this shit. It's annoying and weird. What trans people do is none of my business.
With goals like that, I'm really not sure what you hope to accomplish. Even by not engaging with the topic, you still engage with him. Your stance doesn't matter. On the black and white forum of lemmy, simply by replying, you're disagreeing. Lines have been drawn and nothing said will do any good or change anyones mind on anything. You are still engaging in the culture war.

Thats one perspective, sure, and I am weird but I'm pretty ok with that. But anyway, I don't think prohibition works for ideas and people that act like this tend to not be very happy people. It is worth checking in sometimes.
Whilst I do believe in deplatforming, I wouldn't call fediverse comment sections a platform.
Checking in on concerning individuals and helping them realise that they're being unkind, is an important but exhausting role in society - and it's good if mods aren't the only ones doing it!
Parts of the fediverse are small enough of a community that you can give a helping hand to these people and break them out of their reactionary/propaganda bubbles.
You're helping to keep the community kind - thank you for doing it
